Disconnected thoughts...
I have a chance to go to Vienna in April with my mooting team. I wonder if I should go? What does God think about these mooting competitions and what role do they have in his plans? These things escape me, but I would love to take a week off and wander around Austria - especially since I recently watched The Sound of Music.
I've been thinking recently that I haven't made as much of an effort to keep in touch with friends as I'd like. But friendships are more resilient than they appear - and friends are always so gracious to me. They won't say "you haven't called or emailed or cared about me for a long time!" They'll write me a postcard or invite me out to lunch, and offer me their friendship anew. In them I see that God is gracious indeed.
I need to take my studies more seriously... have been spending too much time in Rivendell and Moria. Tolkien is really good at creating another world, and I love his style of writing as well.
If anyone is reading this, please leave me a comment? I'm new to this blogging thing and need much encouragement...
